This initiative empowers youth to connect with soccer through a creative lens, offering projects that explore the sport's impact beyond the field of play. By blending athletics with artistic and community-based activities, the program encourages kids to develop their identities as both players and innovative thinkers.
TIFO PROJECT
The YFMF Foundation partnered with Crossbar Syndicate to give kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet the unique opportunity to design a "Football for All" TIFO displayed at a Chicago Fire match at Soldier Field. The kids led the creative process by brainstorming and drafting the artwork, which was elevated by Crossbar Syndicate’s installation of central text crafted from reclaimed materials. This collaborative project bridges the worlds of youth sports, creativity, and community.
Outside the lines, vol. 1
This project introduces kids to the world of storytelling through a soccer-themed guided anthology, where they will learn about illustration and publishing. ‘Volume One’, will be drafted by kids in Knoxville, TN with cover art created by artist, Mani aka DucksEyeView. It is a fun, hands-on way for local youth to experience how a book goes from a sports-inspired idea to a finished, published piece.
